Sadly, Dad passed away this morning. We'd been expecting it for a while and earlier this week he was admitted to hospital with kidney problems. Thankfully I had a good chat with him on the phone on Monday- he was in good spirits. My brother tells me he'd had his breakfast of rice krispies and just fell asleep again. What a lovely way to go! I'm just sorry he wasn't at home like he'd wanted to be.
Thanks everyone for all your kind support earlier in the year. Please remember him (and us) in your prayers.

Maria x

Sorry to hear Maria about your sad loss.

I'm sure the fact that he passed away in his sleep will bring you much comfort.

My mum had 'a nice death' which at the time and still does bring me alot of comfort when I think of her.

Take Care

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and wishes- it means so much at such a difficult time.

The weird thing is, since Friday, the RA has calmed down so much and I'm virtually pain free!

Love to you all

Maria
